The report disputes the suicide version and the Public Prosecutor’s Office requests a reevaluation of the evidence; influencer died in 2023, in SP
An expert opinion hired by the family of concluded that the influencer may have been murdered by strangulation with a headphone cord. The analysis, carried out in March 2026, contradicts the official version of the Technical-Scientific Police, which concluded suicide by hanging. THE remains under investigation.
The opinion was prepared at the request of the family’s lawyers and questions the from the IML (Legal Medical Institute) and the IC (Institute of Criminalistics). In 2025, official bodies concluded that PC had taken his own life using a ratchet strap. According to this version, the act was carried out in front of his ex-girlfriend.
The new report states that the death was not caused by hanging. The expert responsible states that there was asphyxiation with a thin object, which would not be compatible with the wide belt mentioned by the official investigation.
Marks on the body and new element analyzed
According to the opinion, the injuries on the influencer’s neck would indicate the use of a wire, possibly headphones. An object with these characteristics was found in the apartment and later handed over to the police by the family’s lawyers.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office determined that this material be analyzed by official experts. They must compare the thread with the recorded injuries. As the body can no longer be exhumed, the new analysis will be based on photos from the original forensic examination.
Investigation remains open with new hypotheses
The Court ordered, at the end of 2025, the continuation of the investigation. Although the Civil Police initially reported suicide, the case was not closed. The Public Ministry identified inconsistencies in the reports and discrepancies in testimonies.
As a result, other possibilities began to be considered, such as homicide, induction to suicide and failure to provide assistance. So far, there are no suspects formally charged.
Testimonies and reconstruction of the case
PC’s ex-girlfriend stated in her statement that she tried to prevent the YouTuber’s death, but was unable to do so. He also said he asked for help after leaving the apartment. A neighbor said she found the influencer and cut the belt to try to help him.
In January 2026, the Technical-Scientific Police carried out a reconstruction at the site. The ex-girlfriend did not participate. Days later, she and her neighbor were heard again in a confrontation, after disagreeing about the time of the events.
Defense denies responsibility
The ex-girlfriend’s defense claims that there is no evidence to hold her responsible for the case. In a note, he maintains that the official reports were made using technical criteria and that private opinions do not have the same degree of impartiality. It also highlights that there is no formal accusation against her.
Context
PC Siqueira was one of the pioneers in producing content on YouTube in Brazil and also worked as a TV presenter.
Before his death, he was even investigated on suspicion of involvement with images of child sexual abuse, after the leak of private messages in 2020. Subsequent forensic examinations, however, did not find this type of material in the seized devices. The influencer has always denied the accusations.
With the death, the case was closed without trial, due to the extinction of punishment, that is, without a definitive conclusion from the Court on the suspicions.
