Plans were already well advanced for a benefit concert for the victims of terrorism on Bondi Beach in the Australian metropolis of Sydney. Last December, 15 people were killed there by two Islamist terrorists – a 24-year-old and his father – during the Jewish festival of Hanukkah. According to Australian police, their attack was inspired by the Islamic State terrorist group.
