A 77-year-old woman was walking alone, struggling, along a road frequently hit by Russian fire, when drone operators sent an unmanned vehicle with a blanket and a simple but humane message: “Grandmother, sit down!”
The video went viral last week, but only now did the elderly woman speak publicly about the moment. In an interview, she revealed that she didn’t immediately understand what was happening, but confessed that she wasn’t scared. At 77 years old, she says she has a dream: “for the war to end”.
