O Met Gala is one of the most important fashion events in the world, and the 2026 edition takes place on Monday (4), at Metropolitan Museum of Artin New York, under the theme “Costume Art”.
The aim is to raise funds for the museum’s Costume Institute department. At the same time as it is one of the most anticipated in the fashion world, the Met Gala is also, in a way, secret.
This is because, after passing through the red carpet, where they display pieces from renowned designers and brands, the guests have their cell phones collected. These guests were hand-selected by Anna Wintour, former editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine and a global fashion authority.
The singer who hasn’t been to the event in 10 years, the actress and the tennis player will be the co-hosts of the edition. Although the guest list remained secret until shortly before the event began, some names have already been confirmed.

The Met Gala will be broadcast live for the Vogue American. The live on YouTube is scheduled to start at 7pm (Brasília time) on May 4th.
