Mother’s Day is celebrated every year on the first Sunday of May. Many families took the opportunity to go out and create memories.
Initially Mother’s Day was celebrated on December 8th, The Day of Our Lady of Conception, considered the “mother” of Catholics.
However, in the middle of the 20th century it began to be celebrated on the first Sunday in May.
Between hugs and walks by the sea, this day became an opportunity to share the love between mothers and children.
Among the youngest, gifts are a gesture to mark the day and there are special gifts such as flowers, postcards with special messages or perfumes.
