The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management body (NCEMA) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) reported this Monday, 4, that air defense systems are responding to a missile threat. No further details were provided about the origin of the missile.
In the statement, NCEMA asks citizens to remain in a safe place and follow official channels to receive alerts and updates regarding the situation.
“Do not approach, touch or photograph any fragments or objects that have fallen as a result of successful aerial interceptions; allow the appropriate authorities to assess the situation,” he writes.
