A fire destroyed a store in the BragaShopping shopping center, in the center of Braga, this Monday, but there were no injuries reported, said a source from Cávado Civil Protection.
According to the source, the alert was given at 09:41, but has now been considered extinguished.
“Right now [cerca das 12:00]only space ventilation works are taking place”, said the same source.
The fire started in a store on the 1st floor of the mall, and the causes are not yet known.
The commercial space was evacuated during the fight against the flames, and traffic was also cut off on adjacent streets.
There were 22 operatives on site, supported by nine vehicles.
