The presidential pre-campaign of () released a video on social media this Monday (4) to encourage young voters, who will be 16 years old by the date of the election, to get their voter registration card.
The objective is to target a portion of the population that is seen as potentially favorable to the senator.
“If you don’t vote in 2026, someone will decide your life for you”, says the pre-candidate at the beginning of the video.
He then states that the election will not just decide a four-year period, but the next 40 years. He adds that young people currently “pay a lot for everything and have difficulty getting opportunities”, citing taxes for online purchases and the feeling of insecurity.
Internal surveys and pre-campaign research show that the pre-candidate performs better among younger people, an audience that did not experience Lula’s first two terms.
The video was released two days before the deadline for obtaining a voter registration card, on Wednesday (6).
The content will also be driven by digital influencers and names linked to the right.
