The former Minister of the Environment (Rede) says that the chance of being a substitute in October is zero, and that this debate is not consistent with the size and quality of her contribution and that of the Rede-PSOL federation.
The Lulista account still doesn’t close today. Three former ministers of Lula (PT) are: Marina, () and (PSB).
“There is no discussion about the replacement for the Senate. I left the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, putting my name to the debate to compete for one of the Senate seats for São Paulo, as I understand the strategic importance of President Lula’s re-election and the election of Fernando Haddad to the government of São Paulo”, says Marina to the Panel.
“It is a calm and mature debate, with the support of the Rede-PSOL Federation, which understands that it will make a great political and programmatic contribution to one of the Senate vacancies on the ticket. This debate about substitutes is not consistent with the size and quality of our representation and contribution”, he adds.
cattle rancher Teresa Vendramini (PDT), known as Teka, is plan A of Fernando de Haddad’s () campaign for the Government of São Paulo for vice president. If the ticket is confirmed, the two vacancies for the Senate would remain defined.
With Tebet’s candidacy taken for granted, the fight today is concentrated between Marina and França. Haddad’s allies believe it will be difficult to prevent France’s candidacy, which controls the PSB in the state. To try to accommodate the three former ministers, one of the options would be to offer Marina a replacement — which she rules out.
