A 31-year-old man was shot dead on Saturday afternoon (2), in Praia Grandeon the coast of São Paulo, while receiving care within a SAMU ambulance. A CNN Brazil confirmed that the Civil Police are investigating whether the crime was motivated by retaliation for another crime.

Interception and execution in SAMU
According to the police report, the incident occurred inside a residence in the São José do Rio Preto neighborhood.
During the journey to a health unit, the FIND was intercepted by two individuals.
One of them approached and fired new shots at the patient, who died at the scene.
A Praia Grande City Hall confirmed that the medical team was not injured and is doing well.
The Military Police also monitored the incident, reporting that the victim was taken to UPA Samambaia, where the death was formalized.
Background: the death of the child
The case that preceded the execution took place on Friday (1st), on Rua Manoel Sierra Pérez, in São Vicente.
A Civil Police was investigating the death of the eight-year-old boy as a homicide. Inspections were carried out at the scene and images from security cameras were seized to help clarify the facts.
Investigation underway
Police records were centralized at the Cubatão Police Station and the Praia Grande Judicial Police Center (CPJ). So far, those responsible for shooting the man in the ambulance have not been identified.
The efforts continue to identify those responsible for both the child’s death and the stepfather’s execution.
