At the Specialized Criminal Court (ŠTS) in Pezinok, the trial in the case of ordering the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak, as well as in the case of the preparation of the murders of prosecutors, is to continue on Monday. Tomáš Szabó, who is serving a 25-year non-conditional prison sentence for the murder of Kuciak and his fiancee Martina Kušnírová, should be interviewed. He is also legally convicted for the preparation of the murders of the prosecutors, to which he confessed.

In October 2022, he found him guilty of preparing the murders of prosecutors. However, he waived the sentence. He considered it sufficient an unconditional 25-year prison sentence that Szabó is serving for the murder of a journalist, his fiancee, and also for complicity in the murder of businessman Petr Molnár.
In the case of Kuciak’s murder from February 2018, in which his fiancee Martina Kušnírová also died in Veľká Mača in Galanta district, no.The couple Marian Kočner and Alena Zsuzsová are facing charges from her order. The Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic annulled the previous two judgments. The case was brought to the ŠTS for the third time.
