Luís Borges celebrated his birthday and on social media he made a point of sharing a video full of tenderness, in which he appears singing happy birthday with some of the most important people in his life, including his three children.
In the post’s comments box, the model and stylist was confronted with a message about his son, Bernardo, aged 15, and decided to speak out.
Given the comment “Bernardo seems quite scared”Luís Borges made a point of putting ‘the dots in the i’: “This comment came from Facebook. In a post where the normal thing would be for people to congratulate me, there is always someone clueless who comes to comment about my son Bernardo”he began by highlighting.
Annoyed by the “lack of empathy” of some people, the digital influencer also considered it “sad” to have to justify himself and explained: “He was VERY HAPPY. In fact, he was the one who pulled out the chair and sat there. The gesture with his little hands is something he does when he’s happy! And, once again, my son Bernardo has Trisomy 21 and autism. He’s in his world, which is certainly much more beautiful than the one we live in”he highlighted.
Luís Borges ended with a thank you: “And thank you to all the people who are part of the unit where Bernardo is. Because they are very patient and encourage him every day”.
