“We’re going to close this very soon. We’re close.” Donald Trump has already left a new threat about bombings.
“If Iran agrees to compromise on what was proposed, which is perhaps a significant assumption, the already legendary operation ‘Epic Fury’ will be ended.”
“If there is no agreement, the bombing will begin and, unfortunately, it will be on a much greater scale and intensity than before.”
Donald Trump left these new warnings on Truth Social, warning that there will be new and heavier bombings towards Iran if Tehran does not accept a deal with the US.
But that agreement will be close.
The portal said this Wednesday that the The White House believes it is close to reaching a deal with Iran.
It will be a memorandum of understanding of one page, com 14 points, to end the war and establish a framework for more detailed nuclear negotiations, two US officials and two other sources close to the matter said.
The US Government expects that, within the next 48 hours, Iran will provide responses on key points.
Sources stress that there is no agreement – but that agreement has never been so close since the US began attacking Iran.
Understanding would involve a Iran’s commitment: moratorium on nuclear enrichment. THE US commitment would be to lift sanctions and release billions in frozen Iranian funds.
The two countries would lift restrictions on transit in the Strait of Hormuz.
Behind the scenes at the White House, Iran’s leaders are believed to be divided. It will be difficult to reach a consensus in the country.
Negotiations could take place in Islamabad or Geneva.
However, a Pakistani source told the agency: “We’re going to close this very soon. We’re close.”
