Here’s a sentence most people never thought they’d say: Is Barron Trump a time traveler?
Lately, conspiracy theorists have been claiming that his youngest son has actually traveled through time. And Lara Trump, Eric Trump’s wife and the President’s daughter-in-law, was forced to take a stand.
Before we move on, however, let us recall that Donald Trump actively encourages the conspiratorial way of thinking. In fact, this was a key part of how he rose to power back in 2016, when his election campaign was based on his racist “place of birth” theory – he claimed he wasn’t born in the US.

As far as conspiracy theories go, this one is particularly far-fetched. The theory, which has gone viral, is largely based on a connection between the President’s son and the protagonist of the 19th-century novels by author Ingersoll Lockwood: “The Travels and Adventures of Little Baron Trump and his Wonderful Dog Bulger,” “The Last President,” and “Baron Trump’s Marvelous Underground Journey.”
In the books, a boy named Baron Trump is a time traveler who lives in “Castle Trump” and is mentored by someone named “Don”.
The coincidences

The book “The Last President” is filled with several strange and almost uncanny similarities between the fictional president of the novel and Donald Trump. These include a chaotic and contested primary, riots on Fifth Avenue where Trump Tower is located, and a cabinet appointee named Pence.
Of course, the conspiracy doesn’t stop there. Donald Trump’s uncle, MIT physicist John Trump, reportedly reviewed Nikola Tesla’s work after the scientist’s death in 1943.
The story goes that John Trump found nothing interesting in the documents, or at least that’s what he stated. Some conspiracy theorists believe that the physicist did find information about time travel and shared it with his family. This is how Donald Trump is supposed to have acquired the machine that his son Barron uses to travel through time.

Even though there is a fictional time-traveling Barron Trump, Lara Trump wants nothing to do with this “absurd” theory. When asked about Barron on a recent episode of her podcast, she stated that this is all crazy and that she’s not trying to spoil anyone’s fun, but Barron Trump is not a time traveler.
He also apologized for upsetting those who believe in this conspiracy theory, but stressed that he considers it outrageous.
Lara went on to challenge the audience to name her a real time traveler adding that people are completely off the hook. He ended by saying that he has known Baron for 18 years and has seen him grow up, so he is well aware that he is not a time traveler.
