Cade (Administrative Council for Economic Defense) closed an investigation that investigated Globo’s alleged monopoly on football broadcasts in Brazil. The body concluded that the broadcaster did not commit anti-competitive actions when negotiating broadcasting rights. As a result, he opted to close the case.
