London/Freiburg – Two final games in this year’s European Football Cup will feature Austrian participation. Philipp Lienhart and SC Freiburg moved into the Europa League final against Aston Villa on May 20th in Istanbul with a 3-1 home win over SC Braga. Coach Oliver Glasner and Crystal Palace were able to celebrate their ticket to the Conference League final against Rayo Vallecano on May 27th in Leipzig thanks to a 2-1 win in front of their own crowd against Shakhtar Donetsk.
