President of the Bar Association considers suing José Sócrates for using his image in court

The president of the Bar Association admits to moving forward with a case against José Sócrates for the use of an image in which he appears in the audience of the musical “Mr. Engenheiro”, captured at the premiere of the satire about the former prime minister, at the Tivoli BBVA Theater, in Lisbon.

“The presence at the aforementioned show was not as president, but as a citizen. Neither the Order, nor Portuguese lawyers, nor I will contribute to this type of serial. However, I reserve, as a citizen, the right to analyze what is in the process and, if I understand that my rights have been violated, I will react in the way I deem appropriate”, said João Massano, President of the Bar Association.
