How our autistic son Max kept a ward busy for a day because of an MRI appointment

Our 21-year-old son Max is impaired and also autistic with pronounced ADHD, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Max can’t keep himself occupied, constantly asks questions and has a massive problem with waiting. Waiting for something stresses him out, so much so that he tries to avoid situations that involve waiting. For example, when we are expecting visitors, he wants to go for a walk with my husband and only come back when he can be sure that the guests are already there.
