Cairo/Gaza – At least three Palestinians were killed in Israeli air strikes in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to health authorities there. Two members of the Hamas-run police force were among the victims, authorities said. The violence underscores the fragility of the U.S.-brokered October 2025 ceasefire. At least 850 Palestinians have been killed since it came into force, according to local medics. According to Israeli sources, four soldiers died during the same period. There is no noticeable progress towards lasting peace.
