The USP Central Student Directory (DCE) reported thatand there were six injured people taken to UPA Rio Pequeno. Two have already been released and four remain hospitalized, with one of them had a broken nose. According to the DCE, the police used stun bombs, tear gas and batons that injured the students.
The PM said that four people were taken to the 7th Police District, where a police report was registered for damage to public property and alteration of limits. After qualifying, they were released.
After vacating, an inspection of the space noted the damage to public property, including the tearing down of the access gate, broken glass doors, damaged school desks, damaged tables and damage to the entrance turnstile, the corporation said.
According to the PM, narcotics, sharp weapons and blunt objects, such as knives, pocket knives, box cutters, sticks and clubs, were also seized at the scene.
The Military Police emphasizes that any reports of excess will be rigorously investigated. Police remain on site to ensure public order and the integrity of public property.
The students staged the strike to demand an increase in the amount paid for the Student Permanence and Training Support Program, improvements in student housing and also in university restaurants, known as bandejões.
