In this context, the R4 section between the 8th and 9th kilometers will be closed from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Košice regional police informed about it on the social network.

The restriction may last approximately five to six hours. The police ask drivers to be more careful in the given section, to respect the instructions of the police and to expect delays.
“According to the findings so far, the driver was driving in the right lane, apparently not fully paying attention to driving the vehicle and monitoring the traffic situation. He then went off the road to the right, where the vehicle overturned.” the police said. During the event, the protective fencing of the National Highway Company (NDS) was also damaged.
The driver’s breath test was negative. After the event, he was taken to the hospital for a follow-up examination.
