Bratislava – Warm welcome for Alexander Van der Bellen in Slovakia: Slovakian President Peter Pellegrini welcomed the Federal President in Bratislava this Monday with a brotherly kiss. Van der Bellen was received in front of the presidential palace in the morning with bread and salt and military honors. He responds to a visit to Vienna by the left-wing politician in September 2024. Pellegrini visited Austria just three months after taking office.
