Sara Norte was Flávio Furtado’s most recent guest and was on the program ‘The Leite Show’, where she was asked several questions about her personal and professional life.
At one point, and because she is a commentator on the SIC Caras program ‘Passadeira Vermelha’, the actress was asked who was “taking out” from the current panel of commentators and responded without hesitation, as we said.
Faced with the moment, Nelson Lisboa decided to rise up and, through his Instagram account, shared a long text: “Your own light cannot be gained by extinguishing that of others!”started by writing.
And then he assured: “We live in a free country, fortunately, where we all have the right to our opinion. But freedom should never be confused with a lack of elegance, sensitivity or even respect for the other’s place. I don’t mind frankness, it bothers me the way it is used, especially when it stops being an argument and becomes just an ego exercise”realized.
After contextualizing the entire situation, explaining the words he heard from Sara Norte, Nelson Lisboa regretted this type of speech.
“I confess that I was perplexed by the naturalness with which people talked about removing colleagues, almost as if someone’s space could only exist at the expense of eliminating another”considered
And then he exemplified: “When you say that someone “shouldn’t be” on a program because they “don’t need that salary” or because fewer people would mean more protagonism and more money for the rest, there is something deeply uncomfortable in this view. Not only because of the lack of delicacy, but because it reveals an idea of competition where personal growth seems to depend on pushing others away from the table. And that, for me, will never be synonymous with strength, much less with emotional intelligence. There are those who shine because of their talent. And there are those who think they can only shine by dimming the light of others”he concluded.
