Pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, asked for money from , from , to finance a project.
The former banker even paid R$61 million for the production of (which means “underdog”), which deals with the former president’s life, and an audio from September 2025 shows the PL senator demanding more resources from the former banker.
The information was revealed by the website, and the authenticity of the messages exchanged between them was confirmed by Sheet with two people linked to the investigation.
In a statement, Flávio confirmed that he had asked Vorcaro for money for the film, but denied having received or offered any advantages.
“It is necessary to separate the innocent from the criminals. In our case, what happened was a son seeking private sponsorship for a private film about his own father’s story. Zero public money,” he stated. In the statement, he said that he met Vorcaro in December 2024, “when the Bolsonaro government had already ended and when there were no accusations or public suspicions about the banker.”
“Contact is resumed when there is a delay in the payment of the sponsorship installments necessary for the completion of the film. I did not offer any advantages in return. I did not promote private meetings outside the agenda. I did not mediate business with the government. I did not receive money or any advantage”, added Flávio, also saying that he is in favor of Master’s CPI.
The PL pre-candidate for the Presidency came from Master. After his ally (PP-PI) was the target of a PF operation, Flávio stated last Friday (8) that “they want to link me with Ciro Nogueira, but Banco Master belongs to “.
Flávio had, to have had any contact with Vorcaro, when the Sheet revealed that his phone number was in the former banker’s address book.
The revelation about the messages exchanged with Vorcaro generated apprehension among Bolsonarists, and the pre-candidate for the Presidency (Novo), who was already considered to be Flávio’s vice-president, called the relationship . Presidential candidate for , said that “society demands clarity in relationships between public agents, companies and private interests.”
As revealed by Intercept, Flávio told Vorcaro in a message sent on September 8 last year: “I’m embarrassed to keep demanding you, it’s at a very decisive moment in the film. And there’s a lot left behind, and everyone is tense and I’m worried about the opposite effect of what we dreamed of for the film, right?”
“Imagine us defaulting on Jim Caviezel, on Cyrus, the guys, well, renowned in American, world cinema. Wow, it would be really bad”, added the senator at the time. Jim Cazaviel plays Jair Bolsonaro in the film. Cyrus Nowrasteh is the film’s director.
The messages were sent five days after the Central Bank by BRB (Banco Regional de Brasília). Liquidation would only come in November, together with Vorcaro’s first arrest, which took place on November 17th.
On November 16, as reported by Intercept, Flávio sent another message to Vorcaro saying: “Brother, I am and will be with you always, there’s no need for half a conversation between us. I just need you to give me some light! Abs!”.
In the months between the veto on the sale to BRB and the liquidation by the BC, Vorcaro tried to find a way to sell Banco Master.
The Intercept states that the total amount negotiated between Vorcaro and the Bolsonaro family was R$134 million, but there is no evidence that all the money was transferred.
A portion of the amount would have been transferred from a company called Entre Investimentos e Participações to the Havengate Development Fund LP, based in Texas, in the United States. This fund would be controlled by allies of (PL-SP), who live in the country.
Despite the messages exchanged by Flávio with Vorcaro, the senator having admitted the request for resources and justifying that there were late installments, Go Up Entertainment, producer of “Dark Horse”, denied the Sheet receiving transfers from Master’s former banker.
According to Karina Ferreira da Gama, managing partner of the company, the producer only has foreign investments, with no connection to Vorcaro. Go Up Entertainment said it could not reveal the source of fundraising for the film, but said that all funds “come from outside the country and are protected by a confidentiality agreement.”
Vorcaro’s involvement in financing the film was not dealt with only by Flávio. According to the Intercept, Eduardo and deputy Mario Frias (PL-SP) also discussed the matter with the former banker.
Frias stated that Flávio “does not have any partnership in the film or in the production company”. “His role was limited to the transfer of the family’s image rights and, naturally, to the weight that his surname adds when attracting investors interested in financing a project of this size — which is legitimate, expected and does not, in itself, constitute anything more than the obvious.”
He further said that “there is not a single penny” of Vorcaro in the film. “And, even if there were, there would be no problem at all: it is a strictly private relationship, between capable adults, without a single dollar of public money involved,” he continued.
Entre belongs to businessman Antonio Carlos Freixo Junior, who is close to Vorcaro and was targeted by the PF in January this year. After that, on March 27, the Central Bank decreed the liquidation of Entrepay, a group company.
Data obtained by the CPI (Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) shows that Master transferred R$2.3 million to Entre in 2025. In total, R$7.7 million was paid between 2023 and last year, with the largest amount paid in 2024 (R$4.2 million).
Entrepay was a partner of Augusto Lima, Vorcaro’s former partner at Banco Master, until the end of 2025 in another company, called Consiglog, which operates in the payroll loan segment for Bahian government employees. Lima participates in the membership of Consiglog via another company, Kontrollpunkt.
Kontrolpunkt belongs to the Quality Golden Service fund, which is part of Banco Master’s web of fraudulent funds.
Quality Golden Service has shares in other companies linked to Augusto Lima, such as Moussaief Red, which operates the Credcesta Program card. The program arose from the privatization of Ebal, the state-owned company responsible for, which operated with a purchasing card, and is the embryo of the payroll operation behind the growth of Master.
Asked about the connection, Grupo Entre said at the beginning of February this year that it “does not have any corporate link with Daniel Vorcaro or Banco Master”.
