Coach Francesco Farioli praised this Saturday “the commitment and level” of the squad that won the title of the 1st Portuguese Football League with FC Porto, when appearing in front of the thousands of people gathered on Avenida dos Aliados.

After all the players and members of the technical team paraded on the platform installed in the ‘heart’ of the Invicta city, the 37-year-old Italian coach also appeared before the crowd to celebrate the ‘dragons’ winning the 31st national championship.

“We are experiencing a unique emotion. For me, It’s a huge honor to work with a team of this levelwith this commitment. We won together and we will celebrate. Thank you everyone,” he said.

While hockey player Carlo di Benedetto asked Farioli for his second championship into the microphone, the ‘helmsman’ met with his pupils to lift the trophy again and continue the celebrations with the ‘blue and white’ fans into the early hours of the morning.
