Right at the beginning of today’s introduction to the wonderful world of cardboard and card art, a note: As befits a vigorous representative of the writing guild, one’s own rules are broken with a cold smile. If the premise of this small weekend series is simply to highlight games that can easily be purchased on the primary market by inserting a small coin, then this guideline must be abandoned. On the one hand, because the inkboy takes it upon himself to fascinate what he likes in his own column, and on the other hand – more importantly – because Mage Knight will be back in print by the end of 2026 at the latest. It is definitely not an out-of-print title.
