Nuno Markl used his Instagram account this Sunday afternoon, May 17, to mark the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.
On his Instagram account, the comedian shared a photo of the LGBTQIA+ flag and in the caption of the post he showed his position towards people who do not respect others.
“International Day of People Who Take to Social Media to Ask Why There Isn’t a Day to Defend the Rights of Heterosexuals and International Day of People Who Take to Social Media to Surge Against a Supposed Ideology That Is as Ideological as Being Blonde or Having Brown Eyes”he wrote.
As, after the post, he was ‘flooded’ with messages from followers “furious” with his words, Nuno Markl returned to social media, this time to make an announcement, but also to leave a guarantee.
“Me eating a healthy Styrofoam cookie while blocking the most disgruntled customers ever, furious over the previous post.”he announced.
And he then clarified: “No, guys. I’ve never been afraid of losing followers for defending basic human rights. Even less afraid at 54 years old and with 2 strokes in my stomach. A person relativizes. ❤️”but
