Since Monday afternoon, the Tauern Autobahn has been completely closed in the north direction between the Pongau junction and the Lueg pass. The reason for this is construction work in the Brentenberg Tunnel, which was badly damaged after a truck fire in January. The motorway closure is in effect until Saturday at 6 a.m. All traffic in the direction of Salzburg is diverted onto the B159 via the Kreuzberg near Bischofshofen. There is a driving ban for trucks over 7.5 tonnes.
