The Police arrested the alleged perpetrator at noon this Tuesday, according to police sources. Matías Corraliza Fernández, real name of the 52-year-old flamenco singer, was shot dead last Friday in Villanueva de la Serena (Badajoz, 25,773 inhabitants). The event occurred at 3:00 p.m. in Rafael Alberti Square in the town of Badajoz, near the home of a relative. Police sources relate his death to a case of jealousy for sentimental reasons.
