Vienna – There are rumblings again in the Vienna Medical Association. Several factions, including that of the former head of the chamber and now honorary president Thomas Szekeres, have submitted a request for early chamber elections for the next general assembly on June 9th, Hamid Schirasi-Fard, the chamber’s PR officer, told the APA on Monday. In 2023, President Johannes Steinhart was able to pacify the fighting within the chamber. The next election would normally take place in 2027.
