Arbitration failed: strike at Samsung is getting closer

Arbitration talks in the collective bargaining dispute at Samsung Electronics have failed. This means that a large-scale strike at the South Korean technology company is getting closer. State mediator Park Su-keun expressed regret on Wednesday over the outcome of the negotiations. The two parties could not overcome their differences on two or three issues, he told reporters, without giving further details.
