The auditor of Plus Ultra appears this Wednesday in the Senate
The Senate investigation commission on the management of the State Society of Industrial Participations (SEPI) will host this Wednesday the appearance of the auditor of Plus Ultra, Jesús Ángel Carbajo, just the day after the indictment of the former president of the Government José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero in the Plus Ultra case.
The popular ones promoted, thanks to their absolute majority, this new investigative commission in the Senate to elucidate political responsibilities in the Plus Ultra case and they have cited several technical profiles. On this occasion, the PP has decided to call Jesús Ángel Carbajo, who is the auditor of Audicar SL, the company in charge of auditing Plus Ultra, to appear.
This appearance occurs after the judge of the National Court José Luis Calama has agreed to investigate Zapatero in the Plus Ultra case for alleged crime of influence peddling. Once Zapatero’s accusation was known, the PP of the Senate has issued a statement in which it boasts of being “ahead of events” after the former president of the Government assured in the Koldo commission of the Upper House that he did not charge Plus Ultra commissions.
