At 57 years old, Kylie Minogue decided to speak publicly about a delicate chapter that lived away from the spotlight. The singer revealed that she faced a second battle with cancer in 2021more than 15 years after being diagnosed with breast cancer em 2005.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the singer also commented on the disease, in which she stated that it changed the way she started to see life. “Obviously, this is a moment that will forever be marked in my being and in my memory. like a meteor coming from space and hitting you in the head. You’re still you, just a different version of you, or the next version of you,” he said.
According to Kylie, there was a lot of uncertainty and, although she can talk about the experience today, she still avoid going deeper too much on the topic not to relive all the pain of that moment. “It’s amazing that I can talk about this now without actually going there, because if I go, I’ll go. But I think, overall, my attitude is to see the glass as half full,” he said.
The star recalled how much his routine was affected by the disease, as simple activities became difficult: “Before streaming, friends would bring me DVDs, but I couldn’t watch an entire movie. Getting to the end of the street was a real mission.”
The singer also said that she didn’t feel ready to talk about the diagnosis at the time. The success of “Padam Padam”, released in 2023, marked a new phase in her career, but, inside, she was still processing everything she had experienced.
