The senator Cid Gomes (PSB) and former federal deputy Captain Wagner (União Brasil) lead the race for the Senate for Cearáaccording to research by the institute Real Time Big Data released this Wednesday (19).
There were three scenarios simulated to voters. In the first, Cid leads with 21% of voting intentions, followed by Captain Wagner, with 19%.
To continue, Alcides Fernandes (PL), Luizianne Lins (Network) and Eunício de Oliveira (MDB) appear tied with 13% each. General Teophilo (New) adds 4%, while Cândido Albuquerque (PSDB) appears with 3% and Anna Karina (Psol) closes the list with 2%.
Those who would vote blank or null represent 6%, as well as those who are undecided.
In the second proposed scenario, this time with Junior Mano (PSB) in Gomes’ place, Captain Wagner scores 21% of voting intentions, while Luizianne and Eunício are tied for the second seat in the senate with 15%.
Alcides and Junior tie with 14% each. The list closes with a three-way tie between General Teophilo, Albuquerque and Anna, all with 3%. Null and blank votes total 6% again, as do undecided votes.
In the third scenario, with Priscilla Costa (PL) in place of Alcídes Fernandes, Cid Gomes appears tied with Captain Wagner, both with 21%.
Oliveira appears with 14% of voting intentions; Luizianne, 13%; Priscila Costa adds 8%; General Teophilo, 4%; Albuquerque appears with 3%; and Anna Karina closes the list with 2%. Null and blank votes have 7%, as do undecided votes.
Methodology
For the research, we heard 1.600 voters in Ceará, between the days May 18th and 19ththrough interviews. The margin of error is 2 percentage pointsmore or less. The confidence index is 95%.
The survey was carried out with the institute’s own resources and is registered in the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under the protocol CE-03506/2026.
