Linz/Wolfsberg – Alessandro Schöpf clarified his club future before leaving for the World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada. The 32-year-old midfielder is moving from WAC to LASK in the Bundesliga. The 35-time ÖFB team player signed a contract with the double winner on Wednesday until the summer of 2028. After his contract with the Lavanttalers, who only played in the qualifying group and came second there, expired, he was able to be signed on for a free transfer.
