Spain faces a demographic winter that is not a prediction for the future, but a reality that is already here. A recent report shows a conclusive figure: in just a decade we will have 600,000 fewer boys and girls of school age. This fall, although it should make us reflect on what type of society we are building, can become an immobilizing element if we understand it only as “loss”, instead of seeing it as an opportunity to rethink the educational system and the political decisions that we will make in the face of this transition.
