US President Donald Trump has postponed the signing of a decree on artificial intelligence (AI). Trump said on Thursday that he didn’t like parts of the text. In the race for AI, the USA is ahead of China and all other countries, and he doesn’t want to do anything “that gets in the way of our lead.” Trump wanted to sign the decree in the presence of tech bosses. This was about protective mechanisms against the misuse of AI.
