Inep (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira) will publish this Monday (25) the results of the appeals for requests for exemption from the Enem 2026 registration fee and justifications for absence in the 2025 edition.
Candidates must follow the return exclusively through the Participant’s Page, as the body has warned that it will not send any type of residential correspondence to inform the verdict.
Those whose appeal is definitively denied will need to pay the registration fee to confirm their participation in the exam.
Inep reinforces that registration is mandatory for all candidates, including students who obtain a fee exemption. The schedule with the registration period will be released soon by the MEC (Ministry of Education).
Registration rules
- Exemption granted: The candidate must register during the regular period to guarantee their place, but they will not pay anything.
- Appeal denied: the student will need to register according to the rules of the future notice and pay the fee in full.
Gateway to higher education
Enem remains the main access mechanism in Brazil. Your grades are used by public and private institutions in federal programs such as Sisu (Unified Selection System), Prouni (University for All Program) and Fies (Student Financing Fund).
Furthermore, individual results can be used in selection processes for educational institutions in Portugal that have an agreement signed with Inep.
