In a Telegram speech on the occasion of Hajj, the country’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, made it clear that US forces will no longer have a “safe haven” in the region, while Gulf countries will stop acting as a “shield” for US bases.

Harsh language from Iran against Israel
The Iranian leader launched a fierce attack against Israel as well, speaking of a “shaky Zionist regime” and a “cancerous tumor” that is approaching the final stages of its existence. In fact, he recalled an earlier prediction of his predecessor, noting that Israel is not going to survive beyond the next twenty years.
Global Invitational for “Down with America”
Concluding his message, Khamenei placed special emphasis on this year’s Hajj and the traditional ritual of the “Renunciation of Polytheists” (bara’at), calling for it to take on global dimensions and transcend religious borders.
“Down with America” and “Down with Israel” must become the common slogans of the Islamic Ummah and all the oppressed of the world, with the new generation in front”, concluded the supreme leader of Iran, sending a signal of prolonged tension for the next period.
