Spotify and Universal Music announced an agreement that allows the streaming platform to use a tool that gives fans the chance to create remixes from different artists, using artificial intelligence. The information is from Variety.
The new feature “will open up new sources of revenue and new ways to drive discovery,” says the platform.
Furthermore, there will be a “creation in which artists and composers can directly share the value generated through covers and remixes licensed with artificial intelligence technology on the Spotify platform”.
