On August 13, 2026, the movie Bojovník will be released. The protagonist Pavel “Hoff” Hoffmeister, played by Milan Ondrík, is a former European champion and Olympic medalist in boxing, who decides to return to wrestling after many years. This time, however, he is not waiting for a familiar ring, but an MMA cage, new rules, a feared opponent and, above all, a past that can no longer be run away from. Actor Ján Jackuliak takes an important role in the film, who stood face to face with fellow actor Ondrík.
For Koktejl.sk with musician Teri Čikoš Ján Jackuliak revealed what the atmosphere was like during his filming with Milan Ondrík. “I try to do my job to the fullest, I dedicate myself to it and I enjoy it, so thank you. And the kind of person I have become is me, I am gradually working on myself, I realized many things, different values. But there was a harsh atmosphere on the set. It was demanding, physically unreal. And Milan is an uncompromising person. I knew it, we know each other” he explained.
However, he is not the only one. “And Milan discovered that I am also an uncompromising personso we both had respect for each other, which was also good and at the same time, we also got into each other and it brought us very closewhich is not only about the acting stuff, but we got closer as people. I think we found our way to each other, we’ve both been through a lot so… but this movie… when you spend several days in a cage with someone and keep beating each other, it brings you closer,” the actor added with a laugh.
