O Fluminense announced this Tuesday (26) that Paulo Henrique Ganso will not be involved in the team’s next two commitments.
The decision comes amid negotiations for a possible transfer of the midfielder in the summer.
The Brazilian Championship regulations prevent athletes with more than 12 matches played from defending another club in the competition in the same edition. Ganso has already reached that limit.
Fluminense hosts Cusco this Tuesday, at Maracanã, in the sixth round of the Copa Libertadores. On Saturday, the team faces Coritiba, again at home, in the Brasileirão.

“Midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso will not be listed in Fluminense’s next two matches. At the beginning of the week, the athlete informed the board about another club’s interest in signing him in the middle of the year. As a result, the club decided not to list the player so that he has the peace of mind and necessary conditions to decide his future.”
