After the influencer was arrested in Operation Vernix, lawyer Bruno Ferullo stated that the criminal received the news of his alleged involvement with her with ‘surprise and indignation’.
The defense of Marcos Willians Herbas Camacho, the Marcolastated this Wednesday (27) that the head of the First Capital Command (PCC) don’t know the Deolane Bezerra and received the alleged involvement with the influencer with “surprise and indignation”. A new preventive arrest warrant was served against him, who is already imprisoned in a federal penitentiary.
In a note, lawyer Bruno Ferull informed that Marcola “I don’t know about those being investigated Deolane and Everton”appointed by the authorities as the financial operator of the scheme. Both were also targets of the operation carried out last week.
“In view of the information presented, Marco expressed surprise and indignation, declaring that he did not know the investigated Deolane and Everton, stating that his only connection with the case is restricted to his relationship with his nephews Leonardo and Paloma and his brother Alejandro”, stated the lawyer in a note.
“Furthermore, he denied any participation in the facts investigated, as well as direct or indirect ownership of the carrier mentioned in the investigation, reporting that he also does not have the alias ‘nose’ attributed to him by the police authority”, adds the defense in the statement.
The lawyer also highlighted that Marcola has been in prison since 1999 and, since 2019, he has been held in a maximum security federal penitentiary, subject to a total incommunicado regime.
Operation Vernix
A launched by the Public Ministry of São Paulo (MP-SP) and the Civil Police to investigate a money laundering scheme linked to the First Command of the Capital (PCC).
According to the investigation, Deolane would have received funds from the faction through a transport company identified as financial arm of the criminal organization.
The operation is conducted by the Judicial Police Center of Presidente Venceslau and the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (GAECO) of Presidente Prudente.
In addition to Deolane, Jovem Pan found that other targets of the operation were Marco Herbas Camacho, the Marcolahead of the PCC; Alejandro Camacho, Marcola’s brother; Paloma Sanches Herbas Camacho, criminal’s niece; Leonardo Alexsander Ribeiro Herbas Camacho, also nephew; e Everton de Souzaidentified as the financial operator of the criminal organization.
In total, the Court issued six preventive arrest warrantsin addition to search and seizure orders.
