Rede D’Or and Atlântica will build a hospital in São Conrado, Rio

A and A announced this Tuesday (May 26, 2026) an agreement for the construction of a hospital in São Conrado, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Rede D’Or will have a 50.01% stake in the project, while Atlântica Hospitais will have 49.99%. Here is the statement (PDF -209 KB).

According to the announcement to the market, Atlântica will pay R$59.2 million to Rede D’Or for its participation in the unit. Part of the amount will be paid in cash and the remainder within 6 months after closing the transaction. The medical management of the hospital will be the responsibility of Rede D’Or.

Atlântica Hospitais is the hospital arm of Bradsaúde, a group that brings together Bradesco Saúde, Mediservice and Odontoprev. The new hospital in São Conrado will be the 10th unit of the joint venture between Bradsaúde and Rede D’Or, a partnership created in 2024 and which currently has around 2,100 beds.

The companies have already built hospitals in Guarulhos, Alphaville and Macaé. In addition, they have units under development in Ribeirão Preto and Taubaté, in the interior of São Paulo. Bradsaúde’s strategy also includes partnerships with other hospital groups, such as Albert Einstein and Mater Dei.
