Milan – The northern Italian region of Lombardy is investing ten million euros for the Milan-Munich cycle path. The amount will be used to build the section in the Lombard province of Bergamo. The financing has now been approved by the regional government, media reported on Friday. Plans include, among other things, connections between existing route sections, new crossings and footbridges as well as measures to improve safety along the route.
