The luxury real estate market in the Algarve continues to register new large-scale projects, with emphasis on developments integrated into resorts that combine housing, tourism and leisure. According to the property buying and selling portal, , a new set of luxury residences was recently launched in Lagos, part of the Palmares Ocean Living & Golf project, with typologies between T1 and T3+1.
These new homes are part of the so-called Signature Residences, a set of units facing south, with views of the sea and the golf course. According to the same source, the properties are integrated into a natural amphitheater that offers panoramic views over the bay of Lagos and the Ria de Alvor, reinforcing the landscape component of the project.
Investment that exceeds 700 million of euros
The overall development of the Palmares project represents a gross investment of more than R$700 million. The same portal writes that this value integrates several construction phases and different components of the resort, including housing and tourist infrastructure.
According to the same source, the new residences appear in an expansion phase of the project, which continues to be developed on the Algarve coast, in one of the areas with the highest demand in the luxury segment in Portugal.
The Signature Residences have areas that can reach 331 square meters. The same source adds that the properties include storage, parking and private swimming pools, elements that are part of the project’s housing offer.
According to Idealista, owners will have access to a wide range of services integrated into the resort, including a gym, paddle tennis, yoga and spa spaces, as well as the 27-hole golf course already in the complex.
Architecture designed by an award-winning firm
The architectural design of the residences is the responsibility of the RCR Arquitectes office, awarded the Pritzker Prize. The office’s portfolio includes works such as the Soulages Museum, in France, and other leading international projects.
It should also be noted that the design of the houses emphasizes the connection between internal and external spaces, seeking to integrate the architecture with the natural surroundings of the land where the resort is located.
Offer linked to luxury tourism
The new residences are part of a broader resort concept that also includes luxury hotels. The opening of the JW Marriott Algarve Palmares Hotel & Spa is also planned, which will mark the brand’s entry into Portugal.
This set of infrastructures aims to reinforce the offer of services associated with high-end tourism in the region, combining housing and short-term stays.
