Tokyo/Paris – The Japanese investor Softbank says it wants to invest a record sum of 75 billion euros in expanding the AI infrastructure in France. “It will be the largest investment in Europe in infrastructure in the field of artificial intelligence,” Softbank boss Masayoshi Son told the newspaper La Tribune Dimanche on Saturday. 45 billion euros are expected to flow into the construction of data centers in the northern Hauts-de-France region by 2031.
