Actor Owain Rhys Davies, from “Twin Peaks” and “The OA”, dies aged 44

Actor Owain Rhys Davies, known for his role in “Twin Peaks”, has died aged 44. According to a post made on social media by his brother, he died “suddenly, naturally and peacefully”.

“The reach of Owain’s love, generosity and generosity was immense. The outpouring of messages we have received in recent days has been a testament to the impact he had on so many lives,” he wrote.

The actor’s brother recalled that, because he was adopted, Owain had two families: his biological one and his friends — to whom he dedicated himself his entire life.

“I am incredibly proud that although he was my brother, he was also a brother to so many other people. We know this loss will be felt by so many people, and we take comfort in knowing how much he was loved,” said Rhodri Davies.

He commented that the family will share more information about the death when they feel prepared and tributes are scheduled.

“In the meantime, we kindly ask for some privacy as we come to terms with this devastating loss and support each other in the days to come.”

Owain Rhys Davies, born in Wales, United Kingdom, began his career in local theaters.

When he entered cinema, he had roles in films such as “Alice Through the Looking Glass” (2016) and “A Serial Killer’s Guide to Life” (2019); and in the series “The Indian Doctor”, “The OA”, “Relationships” and “Twin Peaks” — in the latter he played FBI agent Wilson.
