The São Bartolomeu de Messines Fair and Exhibition Park hosts, between the 3rd and 7th of June, the 11th edition of the Festa do Caracol, one of the most popular events in the parish, which promises five days of entertainment for the whole family.
Organized by União Desportiva Messinense, with the co-organization of the Parish Council of São Bartolomeu de Messines, the initiative has free entry and combines music, humor, gastronomy, crafts and sporting activities.
Over the five days of the festival, the public will be able to watch shows by some of the best-known names in national music and comedy, in a program that aims to attract residents and visitors from across the region.

This year’s program includes performances by comedians Ana Arrebentinha and Rouxinol Faduncho, as well as musicians Augusto Canário e Amigos, Iran Costa, David Antunes & Midnight Band, José Malhoa and Toy.
The program also includes several popular dances, led by JP Cavaco, Paulo das Vacas, Ritmos do Sul and Xico Barata, providing moments of dancing and conviviality throughout the event.
Gastronomy, crafts and activities for the whole family
In addition to the musical component, the Festa do Caracol will feature various demonstrations and sporting activities, including capoeira, stick game, gymnastics, zumba and Muay Thai.
Visitors will also have available spaces dedicated to traditional cuisine and local crafts, reinforcing the cultural and economic aspect of the initiative.
With a diverse program aimed at different audiences, the Festa do Caracol celebrates tradition, conviviality and local identity.
