SÃO PAULO, June 2 (Reuters) – IG4 Capital and Macquarie Asset Management announced this Tuesday an agreement to sell control of the independent port operator CLI-Corredor Logística e Infrastructure to AD Ports Group, in a transaction valued at US$835 million.
The transaction, which remains subject to customary closing conditions including regulatory and antitrust approvals, occurred through Private Equity Fund II (IG4) and Macquarie Infrastructure Partners V.
According to the companies, the operation marks AD Ports Group’s entry into the Brazilian market and should support CLI’s next phase of growth, ‘leveraging AD Ports’ global platform and experience in port and logistics operations’.
